Paediatrician

Oonah has been offering paediatric clinics since August 2017 with great success. Community members feel culturally safe accessing this specialist service through the Oonah Belonging Place and appreciate the Oonah approach to working with their families. The paediatricians are experienced to help kids with a broad range of medical issues, and learning and behavioural difficulties from newborns to 16 years.

Our Paediatrician, Dr Sally Munday, and a registrar from Monash Children’s Hospital hold monthly clinics to see Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community kids living in the Yarra Ranges. We will also be having a new paediatrician starting in 2023!

Dr Lionel Lubitz retired at the end of 2022 and his patients will now be booked in with one of the other doctors.

Bookings are essential due to the high demand for appointments and clients will need to have a current referral to access this service. We are offering a face-to-face clinic, with Telehealth available on request.

We request at least 24 hours’ notice for a cancellation. You will be contacted to confirm your appointment the week prior to the appointment. If you don’t confirm your appointment, it may be cancelled.

Please contact reception for appointments at:
